RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

This Returns & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through Elégoria and shipped worldwide.

At Elégoria, customer satisfaction is important to us. In accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, customers located within the European Union have the right to request a return within 14 calendar days after receiving their order. Elégoria additionally offers an extended 30-day return period for eligible items.

 

1. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Customers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 calendar days from the date the order is delivered.

In addition, Elégoria offers a voluntary extended return period of up to 30 days after delivery for eligible items.

Requests submitted after the applicable return period may not be eligible for a refund or return approval.

 

2. RETURN CONDITIONS

To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and unwashed
  • All original tags, labels, and packaging must remain intact
  • Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received
  • Proof of purchase or order number must be provided

Elégoria reserves the right to refuse returns that show signs of use or damage, including but not limited to:

  • stains
  • odours
  • washing
  • damage
  • alterations
  • removed tags or labels

For hygiene reasons, certain items may not be eligible for return where permitted by applicable law.

 

3. HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN

To initiate a return:

  2. Include your order number
  3. If applicable, provide clear photos of damaged or defective items

Customers may optionally include the reason for the return to help us improve our service.

Once your request has been reviewed and approved, return instructions and the designated return address will be provided.

Returns sent without prior authorisation may be refused.

 

4. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

Unless the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

Return shipping fees may vary depending on the customer’s location and selected shipping carrier.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless required by applicable law.

We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service, as Elégoria cannot be held responsible for lost, delayed, or damaged return shipments.

The customer remains responsible for the returned item until it has been received and confirmed by Elégoria.

 

5. INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

Returns are processed through our international fulfillment partners.

The designated return address will be provided after the return request has been approved.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that returned items are shipped according to the provided return instructions.

Elégoria cannot be held responsible for returns sent to incorrect or unauthorised addresses.

 

6. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we recommend contacting us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include:

  • your order number
  • clear photographic evidence of the issue

If the issue is confirmed, Elégoria will, at its discretion:

  • provide a replacement,
  • issue a full refund, or
  • cover the return shipping cost where applicable.

 

7. RETURN SHIPPING DEADLINE

Once a return request has been approved, the item must be shipped back within 14 days.

Returns shipped after this period may no longer be eligible for a refund.

 

8. REFUNDS

All returned items are inspected upon arrival before any refund is issued.

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved:

  • refunds will be issued to the original payment method
  • processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or bank

Approved refunds are typically processed within 10 business days after inspection and approval.

 

9. NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS & COSTS

Unless required by law, the following are non-refundable:

  • return shipping costs
  • original shipping fees
  • gift cards
  • final sale or clearance items
  • personalised or custom-made items

 

10. EXCHANGES

Elégoria does not offer direct exchanges.

Customers wishing to receive a different item are encouraged to:

  1. return the original item, and
  2. place a new order separately.

 

11. ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Orders may only be cancelled before they have been processed or shipped.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation requests may no longer be possible and the standard return procedure will apply.

 

12. RETURN ABUSE

Elégoria reserves the right to refuse returns, refunds, or cancellations in cases of suspected abuse, fraud, excessive returns, or policy violations.
